Just behind the beaches you can soak up the tranquil wild life sanctuary of Lake Woollumboola, or at the other end of the beach leisurely explore the Crookhaven and Shoalven river estuaries, Orient Point with its famed oyster farms and fabulous fresh fish at Greenwell Point.
For the more active life then there's always fishing, boating, wind-surfing, scuba-diving, surfing and even a surf school.
